You will find it is the best thing you have ever done for yourself!

God sent Jesus to be the way back to Himself by having Him die on the Cross at Calvary. (Matt 20:17-19, 28)

But on the third day, Jesus was raised to life again - (Matt 28:1-10, 16-20) so that all who believe in Him will also be raised to life again. (John 11:25, 26)

Jesus says this,
"I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life; the only way to the Father is through Me." John 14:6

And this is our invitation from Jesus;

"Come to Me, all of you
who are tired
and have heavy loads,
and I will give you rest.
Accept My teachings
and learn from Me, because I am gentle and humble in spirit,
and you will find rest
for your lives.
The teaching that I ask you to accept is easy; the load I give you to carry is light."
Matt 11:28-30

THE WORD

John Chapter 1, verses 1-4

1 In the beginning there was the Word.
The Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 He was with God in the beginning.
3 All things were made by Him, and nothing was made without Him.
4 In Him there was life, and that life was the light of all people.

Serving God

Ephesians 4:11-13
11And Christ gave gifts to people - he made some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to go and tell the Good News, and some to have the work of caring for and teaching God's people.
12Christ gave those gifts to prepare God's holy people for the work of serving, to make the body of Christ stronger.
13This work must continue until we are all joined together in the same faith and in the same knowledge of the Son of God.

Eph 5:5
You can be sure of this: No one will have a place in the kingdom of Christ and of God who sins sexually, or does evil things, or is greedy.
Anyone who is greedy is serving a false god.

Php 2:17
Your faith makes you offer your lives as a sacrifice in serving God.
If I have to offer my own blood with your sacrifice, I will be happy and full of joy with all of you.

Col 3:5
So put all evil things out of your life: sexual sinning, doing evil, letting evil thoughts control you, wanting things that are evil, and greed.
This is really serving a false god.

1 Th 1:9
People everywhere are telling about the way you accepted us (the disciples) when we were there with you.
They tell how you stopped worshiping idols and began serving the living and true God.

1 Ti 4:8
Training your body helps you in some ways, but serving God helps you in every way by bringing you blessings in this life and in the future life, too.

1 Ti 6:5
5..… and constant quarrels from those who have evil minds and have lost the truth. They think that serving God is a way to get rich.
6 Serving God does make us very rich, if we are satisfied with what we have.
